Hello!  My name is Chris Camacho and I serve as a Captain with the Boiling Springs Fire District (BSFD) in Greenville County, South Carolina.  I've been in the fire service since 2004 and have served in many roles through the years (Firefighter, Engineer, Lieutenant, and now Captain). I took a particular interest in Fire Prevention and Community Risk Reduction when I realized that the best kind of emergency, is the emergency that never happens.  At BSFD, we focus on reducing risk for our community members through the 5 E's (Education, Engineering, Economic Incentives, Enforcement, and Emergency Response).  We recognize that people want to do the safe thing, but they might not always know what the safest thing to do is.  Our goal is to provide this information to as wide an audience base as possible, hence the Podcast!  We hope you enjoy the episodes and take away some valuable information at the same time.  Let us know what you think!!
